It is an okay knock knock joke books for me but it is good for little kids. Some of them a bit harder to "get it". so that makes it not so funny... I got this for my daughter, she is 7. She only knew one joke so constantly repeated it. This book helped her learn new jokes, as well as working on her reading skills. Win-win scenario! I really enjoyed some of these jokes, they are age appropriate and not annoying.

So the 4 stars are really for our daughter since the book is obviously geared towards kids. If you love puns you will love knock knock jokes. I have to admit, there were some in the book that actually made me giggle even though I tried hard not to. The jokes are safe and clean so there isn't much worry about letting the younger kids read this alone. The book isn't really that long but there are enough jokes for hours of pain!
The jokes in 151+ knock knock jokes are pretty funny, but could really get warn out rather quickly even for kids. Some of my favorites though are

My grand kids live out of state and I speak to them nightly on the phone. About once a week we tell knock knock jokes. I of course couldn't remember any from my childhood so I purchased this book.
The jokes are family oriented and clean. I certainly wouldn't want to expose them to anything more than that. They don't know grandma is reading out of a book, they just think I am super funny, lol.
I really like the way the book is arranged. It is easy to read. I would recommend this book for grandparents and kids alike. It is great for putting a smile on your face or someone else's.
the book is well written. however, when I bought it i thought it was appropriate for a child age 4, the jokes were a over her head. This year she is getting some of the jokes. I will keep the book for her for a long time as kids do not seem to outgrow those knocj jnock jokes. her teacher in her class used some of them to help the kids learn.
I actually bought the book to write a knock knock joke on her birthday party favors the were bottle of bubbles. I was abel to locate enough age appropriate jokes for the ages of four anf five. i must say it was well worth it. it is a great learning tool.
I thought my 3 year old would enjoy learning some knock knock jokes, but it seems that the concept of a knock knock joke is a little advanced for us yet. The whole guess what/chicken butt is a bigger hit in our house right now than a bunch of knock knock jokes. I, however, thought that the book was full of some pretty awesome and cheesy jokes. Most f the jokes in this book center around puns based on first names. Ahmed, Amelia, Tex, Dewey, Sam, Olive; lots of name based jokes to choose from here. I also think that most of these jokes do fall into the Dad Joke category because they are so cheesy and silly. This is probably not a book for adults because the jokes are so bad. I'm looking forward to the time when my kid is old enough to enjoy some knock knock jokes, though, and will use a lot of these when that time comes.
The title is pretty much explanatory. Yes, they are kind of corny. However, they are also made for little ears and "mixed company",as Granny would say, so they need to be G-rated. I've heard better and I've heard worse. The kids will have a lot of fun with these and you will not,lol. If you must be the captive adult in the presence of the kids when they get this...let them have their fun, but have your headphones handy, giggle and nod a lot. It's a win-win for you both. It's a cute book, really it is. But unless you're Mary Poppins or Mr. Rogers, it will get old very quickly. Why? Because young children have one speed...ON! WAY ON! They will read EVERY joke cover to cover. That's a good thing because it teaches them to read. We NEED a nation of LITERATE people. It's just bad for you as the adult that has to endure the corny jokes. It's the price we pay to raise them ) Good luck! My sympathies in advance! )
